- Chair of Parker Elementary School Parent Group
- Chair of Parker Elementary's two most successful Direct Donation Drives
- Organizer for 4J Local Option Levy Campaign
- Gubernatorial appointee, statewide Comprehensive Revenue Restructuring Task Force, working to stabilize school funding
- University of Oregon Instructor, Academic Learning Services
- Former Washington State Assistant Attorney General (practicing education law)
- Mother of two 4J students
Jennifer has a proven track record on education issues.
- Helped lead successful effort that rid 4J and Oregon schools of soda and junk food
- Helped elect a pro-schools majority in the Oregon House of Representatives
- Pressed school district for effective language arts programs to reach every level and type of learner
- Educated voters to stop harmful Bill Sizemore ballot measures
- Managed a heavy caseload of complex business transactions and legal issues for a state university as a Washington State Assistant Attorney General
- Advised state-funded university during periods of economic downturn and after passage of voter initiatives that affected funding

- She reached out to 4J parents to hear all sides of the Language Arts curriculum discussion and advocated for a balanced, thoughtful solution.
- She has led efforts to stabilize school funding from the state legislature and through our local levy.
